This review covers the euro house track Heath Hunter & The Pleasure Company – Revolution In Paradise (Single Version).
This track was released in 1996 as a single.
The track starts off with a synth and vocals. This is accompanied by a few hits from the drum kit. After that, the keys come in along with an additional synth. From there, the male vocals come in for a verse. After that, a chorus of vocals come in for the main chorus. This is capped off with an instrumental section.
In the next section, the male vocals come in for the next verse. Different male vocals continue in the verse. After that, the other vocals come back to take the track into the main chorus. This section is capped off with an instrumental section.
After that, some male vocals come in for a verse. This is capped off with an additional instrumental section. From there, the vocals come back for the main chorus again. The male vocals make brief appearances as well in this section. This section is again followed by an instrumental section.
The male vocals come in for a short line to lead the track out.
One thing I do like about this track is a full fledged chorus of singers singing the main chorus. It not only sounds great, but fits with the theme in general. What is also interesting is the fact that there are actually two different male vocals. One is actually pretty good while the other one sounds good, but is a bit difficult to understand. Still, in spite of this, it is a strong showing from the vocal side of things.
While I do like the instrumental sections as well, there is a slight flaw in this. What is there is good, but the instrumental sections are all carbon copies of each other. As such, the track gets that variety, but also becomes a bit repetitive as well.
Overall, this is a decent enough track. There are strong vocals in this given that there are two different male vocals and a full chorus as well. The instrumental sections are decent enough, but wind up being a bit repetitive by the end. So, a decent track, but not without its flaws.
