This review covers the track Matrix+Futurebound – All Born Angels (ft. Mister Who).
This particular track was released in 2007 as part of the “Universal Truth” album.
This particular track is interesting because it blends elements of rap and rock into drum and bass. Already, with three different genre’s being blended together, you run the risk of having a confused track. Surprisingly, this track doesn’t suffer that in the slightest.
I think the highlight for this track is the fact that all three genre’s were blended together so nicely into something that sounds very good. I could try and dissect each element, but I would end up sounding like a broken record because I’d just keep repeating “sounds great”.
For me, this certainly is one of those tracks where I just want to crank up the volume. My only problem is the fact that it sounds cut off at the beginning and at the end. Still, if you put it on loop, it’s much less noticeable. Overall, an excellent track.
