We’ve been hitting more and more milestones lately. Today, we are announcing yet another milestone that has been crossed on the official Wiki.
Last week, we announced last month’s progress for the official Freezenet Wiki. In that announcement, we pointed out that we have generated the pages for the artist Random Movement and his label, Flight Pattern. After that, we got a start on his official podcast as well known as the Random Movement Podcast.
Today, we are happy to announce the completion of the archive for that show. If you want to check out everything we have on the show itself, you can head on over to the Random Movement Podcast index page. Through this, you can see everything we were able to collect about the show itself.
Compared to some of the other shows on the Wiki so far, this one wound up being relatively easy to archive. For one, it has less than 200 episodes. For another, many tracklists are officially posted. That doesn’t mean there weren’t a few bumps along the way, though. A few episodes did not have playlists available. So, we did our own research for those shows. As it turns out, we were able to successfully recover every missing playlist not available on the official show. As a result, outside of the occasional ID, this archive represents the most complete picture of every show ever produced available.
Another bump we encountered along the way is the fact that verbal ID’s for the date didn’t always match what was written down. We suspect that the differences revolve around when the show was recorded and when they were posted. This would, at least, give a reasonable explanation as to why there are slight differences in this information. Still, the differences we spotted have been noted in the shows references. We don’t know for a fact that this is the case, but it does represent our best guess as to what is going on here.
At any rate, we hope you enjoy the addition of this latest show. It’s the first Drum and Bass show we’ve included in our archives for music discovery purposes. We are very happy with the addition and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
