This particular track was released in 2013.
This particular track is seemingly supposed to tell the story of someone trying to ask a woman’s father for the daughters hand in marriage, but says no.
When I listen to this track, I wonder why this was written in song format. Instead, it should have been written in short story form instead. The reason I say this is because the singer comes off as extremely whiny. Not only is the singer whiny, but the overall music backing this track sounds extremely weak and lacking in any emotion that even remotely resembles what the song is singing about.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve heard music with reggae influences that I liked. This is obviously not one of those tracks. I can see why the character in this track is still not married.
