This review covers the progressive trance track Dusterix – Dusted (CJ Stone meets Mr. Phillips Mix).
This particular track was released in 2006 along with a Sean Tyas remix.
One thing I really like about this track is the strong progressive nature of this track. This track seems to start off with a simplified version of the melody, but the main melody of this track is quite different. So, I was basically left with a very pleasant surprise when I actually got to the main melody here.
What makes this track even stronger is that the overall sound of all of the melodies found throughout the track are constantly evolving. So, as you listen, there’s always something new and different happening in the track. It has a great breakdown and builds up really nicely overall.
I think this is a great track that does push the quality envelope a bit. Overall, I would say this is definitely a highly recommended track. Quite enjoyable.
