Welcome to the 94th instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Playstation game, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

This general franchise is something I have had a lot of experience with already. It’s largely from four games released in the Playstation 2. So, it was really interesting to see that this has actually carried through onto the Playstation 3. From what I’ve seen so far, this looks like a really fun game. I guess I’ll find out how much that fun carries on through to the rest of the game.

For those of you who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was this a really good game or did you prefer other games in the franchise? Are you more of a fan of the oldest titles in the series or are you just more into later games?

For those of you who have played other games in this franchise, but not this particular game, does this look like an interesting game to play to you? Would you be interested in trying this game or are your interests more focused on other titles in the franchise?

For those with no experience with the franchise, does this look like an interesting game to play or are there other styles of games you’d rather play? This game does have a sort of hybrid third person shooter and melee action adventure mechanic, after all, so maybe that hybrid format is or isn’t your thing? Either way, let us know in the comments below!

This video is part of our first impression video series. Below is a list of 50 of the previously made first impression video’s we’ve made in the past:
