First Impression: Battlefield 1 (XBox One)

I’m continuing on with the Battlefield franchise by trying Battlefield 1. I will note that the game gets off to a depressing start. Basically, you fight a series of battles where you are expected to lose. Definitely not your standard start to a shooter game, but a start nevertheless. Not sure what I think about this game so far, but I will get back to playing this one later on down the road to get a better idea of what this game is like.

Still, I wanted to hear from you. For those who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was this a great entry into the Battlefield franchise or was this a largely forgettable game to you?

For those who have played other games in the franchise, but not this game in particular, what did you think of what you saw? Does this look like the kind of game you’d be interested in playing or does this look like a pretty mediocre title to you?
