After counting down top 10 worst music reviewed in 2015, among others, we’ve now reached the final top 10 list. Get ready for the top 10 best music we’ve reviewed in 2015.

As last part of tradition here on Freezenet, we are now counting down the top 10 best music tracks we’ve reviewed for the year 2015. One thing is for sure, there was certainly no shortage of great tracks, but determining what would be the top 10 would prove to be no easy task. In fact, the tracks were so competitive, this list will feature the biggest honorable mentions list to date. So, after careful thought, we are now revealing the top 10 best tracks reviewed in 2015.

10. Inertia – The System (Tyas & Colontonio Mix)

you know you’re in for a great top 10 list when the requirement to even get into the list is a 9. This track was great with just the main melody, the buildup and breakdown, and the overall flow. What took this track over the top was the additional extra melody towards the end that just punctuated how amazing this track was.

9. Pulser – My Religion

A track is good when it impresses the hardcore fans of the genre. A track is also good when people who don’t normally like the genre of music to think it was a great track. This one has built a reputation for creating trance fans with its simple melody, great flow, and impressive evolution that stays catchy from beginning to end.

8. Sub Focus – Airplane

One of the big reasons I actually started liking drum n bass was this track. Excellent use of the aggressive percussion’s, blended together with catchy melodies along with masterful flow. How one not find this track catchy?

7. Vascotia – Avalon (Original Mix)

Uplifting feelings are quite common in the trance genre and this was a fantastic example. Strong melody and great flow really carried this track to greatness.

6. Michael Tsukerman & Robert Gitelman – Bolivia (Onova Remix)

Another track with an incredible melody and flow. This track even has a sort of fake note that just takes this over the top. A brilliant execution of a trance track.

5. Aria Project ‎– Tears Of An Angel (Hemstock & Jennings Vox Remix)

Coming into the top 5, this track delivers not just incredible vocals, but also strong melodies and impressive flow. An absolute must-listen if you ask me.

4. Above & Beyond Presents OceanLab – Satellite (Original Above & Beyond Mix)

With vocals that can send chills down your spine, this track steps things up with an incredible melody, stunning pads, inspiring choir sounds, and amazing flow. This track is truly out of this world.

3. Andy Blueman – Neverland (Original Mix)

I sometimes wonder how music can be so incredible. This track definitely earns the best trance track I’ve heard this year. It start off strong and builds into something that often makes my eyes water it is so stunning. The blending of trance elements and orchestral elements renders me practically speechless.

2. X0-000 – Sicilian Defense

A blend of incredible breakbeat sound and orchestral elements makes this almost impossibly good. this high energy track features cinematic and dramatic sound that left me craving for more. The sound of this one is stunning.

1. SSH – FF6 – Decisive Battle (Ver. 2) (Unverified)

Some of the best things in life are free. Nothing could be more true than this freebie. Maybe some of us older gamers get a sense of nostalgia listening to it, but this track left me saying nothing but “wow” because it was so amazing. I could find myself just listening to this on repeat for days.

Honorable Mentions

With such a competitive top 10 list, we can’t leave it at that. Here are some other tracks that, while didn’t quite make the cut, are certainly worth mentioning.

Erectronik – Pelvis Pumper (Creative Commons/Free) A great track with great melodies and a sense of humor. Who said music always has to be serious?

The Qemists – No More (Original Mix) (Commercial) A fantastic drum n bass track that blends in rock elements and great vocals. A fantastic track.
8.5/10

Dave202 – Departure (Original Mix) (Commercial) If you ever want to find a track that really exemplifies traveling, this is an excellent track to pick. Excellent flow and great melodies.
8.5/10

Yankle vs. Maor Levi – Travelling (Maor Levi Bangin Mix) (Commercial) Another great track that says traveling – both literally and metaphorically. Featuring a very well done guitar and great flow, this is another must listen – especially for the trance fan.
8.5/10

Celldweller – Own Little World (Growling Machines Remix) (Commercial) Psychedelic/psytrance once again features on this list. This one offers an interesting blend of psytrance and rock music. Throw in some great vocals and you got a great track on your hands.

Angerfist – In a Million Years (Gabber Hardcore) (Commercial) Hardcore also makes an appearance on this list with this incredibly strong entrant. This track capitalizes on empowerment with great melodies, vocals, and flow. Definitely top 10 worthy.

Mr. Kitty – Years (Commercial) On the year the industrial genre was introduced here on Freezenet, this ended up reaching the top of the pack to the point of taking the last slot in the honorable mentions and contributing to shutting out all RIAA music this year. This track features both male and female vocals. Combining that with great melodies, this track truly deserves to be added to this list.
