This review covers the progressive trance track Vision84 – Highway Central (Nitrous Oxide Remix).
This track was released in 2007 as part of an EP.
The main melody is definitely the part that stands out. It has an interesting slide amongst those notes that just add a little style to it. With the addition of a nice subtle reverberation filter, it really stands out nicely.
the backing melody also added a lot of overall quality to the track. This can be heard more towards the beginning. I thought this really helped drive this track towards the beginning.
The addition of chopped choir sounds really added a nice surreal element to this track. It was a great addition along with some of the delayed synth effects also added to give this track some great dimension.
The overall flow just pushed this track right over the top. The way the breakdown was structured as well as the numerous elements added to help build this track up was quite the ear candy.
Overall, I thought this was an outstanding track. The effects, the melody, the backing melody, and all the subtle touches was quite the sound to hear. A highly recommended track to say the least.
