Yesterday, we reported that today is the worldwide day of action against the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). Today, we are seeing evidence of the protests coming in.

While ACTA may be on the ropes with four European committees rejecting the agreement, many note that the agreement is not technically dead yet. So today, there was a global day of action against it. How successful these demonstrations are still remains to be seen, but the initial content being uploaded makes the demonstration look very promising.
In Brussels, the pictures show numerous demonstrators hitting the streets sporting anti-ACTA signs, Guy Fawkes masks and even a giant stop sign that says “Stop ACTA”.
Meanwhile, in Kassel, there are a number of additional pictures showing more demonstrators carrying anti-ACTA signs and the cthulhu gripping the entire planet (obviously in reference to the stock trader who went on the BBC to tell everyone that the big corporations like Goldman Sachs are reaching out with their bloodsucking tentacles to suck in anything that smells like money).
A Flickr stream was set up for Frankfurt which shows demonstrators marching down a street with anti-ACTA signs and numerous white balloons as well.
Mannheim has also been featured in a whole library of pictures showing more of the demonstrations that took place today.
Pictures from Göteborg are also surfacing at this time as well.
We will be on the lookout for any other evidence of protests as they surface. You can watch this Wiki as more developments happen as well.
Update: Pictures from Berlin are also being posted.
Update 2: Special thanks to ZeroPaid commenter TheGift73 who has shared with us pictures of the London protests.
