We now take a look at what we’ve added to the Wiki over the last month. This is for the month of January.
It’s been a busy month here on Freezenet. A lot of our focus has been swallowed up by loads of behind the scenes work. Still, that doesn’t mean that we haven’t been busy on the Wiki, though. In fact, there’s been a fair bit of new content posted – though a chunk of it was rather unexpected. Personally, it feels like a nice and interesting shift from last month where not a whole lot of content was added.
First, we wanted to share with you what is generally new for this month’s patch. First up is some additional episodes we were able to archive for the Future Sound of Egypt. This month, we made it all the way up to Future Sound of Egypt 430. This represents an additional 8 episodes added to the archive.
Another big development revolves around Fables. One of the biggest problems we’ve had for the longest time was that episodes and playlists were constantly missing. Sometimes it’s one, sometimes it’s the other. Either way, it was frustrating to leave such large blocks of information out of our archives. During our update, we found out that a huge chunk of information has been added, filling in a vast majority of the missing gaps in our archives.
We worked our way backwards through the archives and began piecing together missing pieces of information. Along the way, to our surprise, there were a lot of sudden broken links as well. Luckily, those broken links and embeds have been fixed in the process. As a result, our update fixed missing blocks of information and embeds going all the way back to episode 190 which is somewhere along the lines of two thirds of a year worth of material. So, really, this update was all about Fables to our surprise.
In addition to that, we have updated the latest episodes for the usual shows. This includes the Future Sound of Egypt, Fables, Resonation, and, happily enough, the Random Movement Podcast. Curiously, there was no new episodes for the V Recordings Podcast this month, so that show remains updated as-is for the time being.
We hope you enjoy this added content and look forward to adding even more in the future!
