Another Thank You to Freezenet Readers for Extending the Milestone

We wanted to extend a big thank you to the readers of Freezenet for adding to the success we’ve seen so far.

Back in early December, I thanked you for getting Freezenet to the milestone of having a month where we pulled in more money then we spent on server costs. November was a really big month for us to be sure.

For the month of December, my thinking was that November probably was a one-off and the revenue would drop back down again. After all, the circumstances that led to what happened behind the scenes were unusual to be sure.

For the month of December, however, you managed to help Freezenet earn a small profit again, extending the streak to two months. I’m very surprised and humbled by this that you helped take Freezenet to this milestone as well.

While it seems repetitive to thank you again, there is also one thing I wanted to be transparent to you about. A few weeks ago, I found out that the hosting company Freezenet uses went up on prices. This is the first price hike we’ve ever seen and it wasn’t anything against us in particular. The fact is that the price hike was an across the board decision that happened to affect us.

I spent some time trying to work out which deal to go with and think I found a solution to this problem for now. As a result, the cost is only marginally going up for the next while. Thanks to my intervention, though, there will be a fair bit of savings as well as well as keeping the services the same.

All this time, a major goal of mine is to keep cost overhead low. That’s why I didn’t exactly go hog wild and spent a small fortune for a team of professionals to help this site out. In fact, this mentality of keeping cost overhead low has been executed almost to a fault. Still, it is a big reason why Freezenet has been around for almost 9 years now. So, it has clearly worked out so far.

Still, the part of the price hike I wasn’t able to avoid would mean that if we earned as much this month as last month, we would just barely fall short. So, if we don’t make it this month, it is, at least, partly thanks to this.

For my part, I’m still going to do my best to try and get more content to the site. As Patron‘s would know, I’ll have a big announcement on YouTube later on this month. I also hope to continue expanding on the official Wiki. What’s more is that I’ll continue to bring you top quality articles which is a big reason why I chose to keep writing in the first place.

Again, thank you for helping to make Freezet experience this success and I hope I can help bring even more success to this site in the future as well!
