Welcome to the 85th instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Steam game, Call of Duty 2 for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:
Before you ask, I was thrown a little by the user interface (UI). In the previous game, friendly’s on the battlefield had a small green soldier logo and a name above then when you aim at them. This game greatly reduced that and the crosshairs didn’t change in that one moment I ended up firing on a friendly by accident. In this game, it looks like this has been changed slightly to have the crosshairs turn red when aiming at enemies. I noticed that a little later after that moment. So, some slight confusion on my part, but I did learn quickly on that one.
For those of you who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was it a pretty good game and a worthy instalment to the franchise or did you think it was a more forgettable entry?
For those who haven’t played this game, but played other entries in the series, does this look like one you would want to play or would you rather stick with the more modern entries?
Also, for those who haven’t played this game and are new to the Call of Duty franchise, does this look like an interesting game to play or does this look like more of a dime a dozen shooter? Let us know in the comments below!
