First Impression: Infamous (Playstation 3)

Welcome to the 162nd instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Playstation 3 game, Infamous for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

This is a game I had heard about, but know very little about. Still, I knew that I should give this game a shot at the very least. While I couldn’t find it in the options, there is a way to adjust the inverted horizontal directional controls. This is, indeed, the first time I have ever played again where the horizontal directions were inverted by default. While I could, in theory, get used to it, I decided it wasn’t worth it in this case.

The movements, meanwhile, felt surprisingly responsive and even a bit on the quick side even. Not sure yet what kind of impact this will have on the overall gameplay, but it is certainly something I noted early on.
