Welcome to the 97th instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Steam game, Torchlight for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

This is definitely not a game I knew a whole lot about. It was more one of those games I heard of, but never really got a chance to get into up until now. So far, though, it’s rather interesting to play with, thus far, reasonable level design and a unique cartoon style.

For those of you who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was it a really fun experience or did you find it a bit on the repetitive side?

For those who haven’t played this game, but other games in the franchise, does this look like an interesting game to try or would you be more on board with sticking to later instalments?
