This months early access review, as nominated by Patrons, is Halo 2. You can read this review now!
We are well into March and you know what that means? Early access review time! Each month, I give patrons the chance to nominate a review they would like to see early. This month, patrons have selected Halo 2 for early access. You can head on over to Patreon right now, subscribe to the Chilled Out tier (or up), and access that review right now!
Halo 2 was an interesting game for me from a technological perspective. It marked the first (and, I think, only) time I ever got backwards compatibility to work on my XBox 360. So, it was interesting to see what it was like to play a game in backwards compatibility mode. I saw some features on the console disabled which is, of course, understandable. Still, the game was definitely playable at least.
While I can admit it ended up not being the greatest gaming experience, I am definitely grateful to have had the opportunity to play this particular game at the very least.
Anyway, if you would like to check out that review instead of waiting for it to publish regularly, you can subscribe to the Chilled Out tier (or up) on Patreon and read it right now!
Don’t forget, if you want a hand in which games you would like to see get selected for early access review, you can always subscribe to the Patreon page on The Cool Tier or up and you can nominate and vote on which review you would like to see for the month. It’s a great way to control what you would like to see on Freezenet in this regard and, in the process, you help support a small news operation that respects gaming culture like us in the process. It really is a win win for everyone involved.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this months early access review and looking forward to hearing from you what you want to see next month!
