Review: Deep Care – Blacks (Daniel Kandi Lifted Remix) (Trance)

This review covers the progressive trance track Deep Care – Blacks (Daniel Kandi Lifted Remix).

This track was released in 2009 as part of a single that contains the original and two other remixes.

The main melody was nicely done. The plucked-like synth sounds was quite well realized.

For large portions of the track, this track has a rather “full” sound (for lack of a better word to describe it). There is a very present bassline, synth, pads, and plenty of other elements in there that just gives this track a major presence. In this case, I thought the soundscape of this track was quite neat.

Another great element of this track was the build-up after the breakdown. The way the various elements get introduced back into the track was very well realized.

This track describes itself as an uplifting track and I thought that the sound delivers exactly what it says on the tin. I really like the uplifting sound this track gives off.

Overall, I’m having a really hard time determining whether to give this track a 7.5 or 8. the reason is that I prefer this track over most of the tracks that have been given a 7.5, whereas I like many of the tracks I’ve given an 8 to over this one. If this a very good track or a great track? There is a lot to like about this track between the main melody, the overall soundscape, and the buildup after all. So, I think I’ll be a little lenient with this track and give it the below score. A great track overall.

Score
8/10
