This review covers the track Growling Machines – Growling Machines (Remix).
This particular track was released in 2007 and was part of the Rounders album.
The general feeling I could get out of this track is empowerment.
One thing I do like about this track is the fact that it doesn’t rely almost entirely on the drum kick and a simple bassline which, in my opinion, makes a lot of psytrance tracks boring. There are loads of effect thrown in throughout the track to help carry it.
There are things I’m not a huge fan about this track, though. It feels like it takes a little too long to get to the good part. The track more or less wavers in the buildup for about two minutes before beginning to progress into something more.
Having said that, I think the second half of this track was quite well done. If I could just listen to the second half of this track over and over again, I would give this track an 8 or a 9. Unfortunately, the first half will drag this track down a little.
Overall, this is a quite a decent track to listen to. Definitely worth checking out.
