This review covers the hardstyle track Zatox Feat. Katt Niall – Be As One.
This track was released in 2014. It was released on the album New World Order.
The track starts off with some chords. This is quickly followed up by some vocals. Eventually, the vocals start getting the chopped treatment. This pushes the track into a much more hardcore sound.
Eventually, the track hits the drop. The track starts building up with the synth chords and vocals. Part of the build-up involves a solo synth section. This is followed up by the two elements layering.
When the track hits the first climactic portion, it is largely non-lyrical. It is capped off with some more chopped vocals. The track then gradually breaks down after.
what I find interesting about this track is the combination of uplifting vocals and hardstyle elements. The combination of the two sounds arguably gives a party hard vibe. In my view, the two elements are successfully mixed together.
The vocals in and of themselves are very nicely done. It is one of the big strengths of the track. The synths that compliments the vocals work quite well in spite of the fact that they are basically coming from two entirely different influences.
What I will say, though, is that the track gives the impression of being somewhat short lived. It is four minutes long, but I’m not sure the best parts really last long enough. It’s a minor complaint from me, though.
Overall, this is a pretty solid track. The hardstyle elements and uplifting vocals work together surprisingly well. The party hard vibe is nicely done. If the track didn’t leave me feeling like it is a bit short-lived, I would have given it a great score. Still, it’s a very solid performing hardstyle track in my view
