I got your response to the early access review for this month. This month, you picked Torchlight II. Well, as you can tell by the score I gave it, I had a lot of fun with this title.
This was a game that was sitting in my Steam library for quite a while. I knew it was an RPG game, so it was going to take a while to play through enough for a review. That meant that I had to put it in the playthrough schedule in a strategic time so I wouldn’t overwhelm myself with super large games (which explains why it took me a while to get to this one).
Still, I bought this game hearing good things about this. All I knew is that it was basically a Diablo-like game and I knew I had a good time with those games, so it made sense for me to pick up at least.
When I finally got to this title, I knew that these games were already fun. This game ended up being a lot of fun and something I definitely recommend for those who like hack and slash action RPG games. This sequel not only retains what made the first game so good, but it also tightens up the gameplay and fixes some of the more minor pitfalls the first game had (the first game is also worth playing, by the way).
